About JErgo
JErgo is a controller for the Daum Classic line of Ergometers.
- NOTE:
- This software will only be useful in combination with a Daum Classic Line ergometer with a serial cable connection.
Prerequisites
In order to use JErgo, you will need
- a Daum classic line Ergometer
- a serial connection. The software update cable that comes with your ergometer should do.
- Java, with Sun JRE >= 1.5.0. You can get this at http://java.sun.com.
- The JErgo software. You can download it from here.
Installation
- Unpack the archive where you would like to store the binaries, eg: tar zxvf JErgo-0.3.tar.gz or unzip JErgo-0.3.zip
- A directory called "JErgo-0.3" will be created.
- You will need rxtx for the serial interface. For Windows and x68-linux, this distribution should work out of the box (not tested yet for linux). For other Operating systems, please consult http://www.rxtx.org
- Connect your ergometer with the serial cable.
Now you can run JErgo by invoking run.bat or run.sh.
- WARNING:
- I tried this only with my own Daum ergoy_lyps vital. I have no Idea which of the other models will work with this software.
